As always, we try to support charities by taking part in different events throughout the year. This year we are aiming high by supporting a charity called Fields of Life. We are hoping to raise money towards purchasing a well in Uganda. One of our parents, Mrs Zephryn Patton has already been out to the area and has witnessed the difficulties/hardships faced by many. Mrs Patton is hoping to come into school and tell the children about her trip.
As tough as it is with schools having 2200 children in them with no chairs or games and only two toilets to share, Mrs Patton witnessed so much joy and laughter. The headteacher is known as the grandmother and she looks after all her grandchildren.
We are getting involved with an event organised for Friday 27th October in Portstewart Golf Club. Please put the date in your diary.
