Primary 4 have thoroughly enjoyed building new friendships with pupils from Macosquin and St Eoghans Primary Schools. Through working and learning together, the children have developed a greater sense of inclusivity, respect and understanding for others, embracing the important themes of peace and reconciliation.
As part of their shared experiences, the children visited a variety of churches, where they explored and discussed both the similarities and differences between them. This provided valuable opportunities to appreciate different traditions and perspectives in a positive and supportive environment.
The programme concluded with an exciting final trip to Score in Coleraine, where the children enthusiastically took part in football, dodgeball and a range of team-building activities. It was a wonderful way to celebrate the friendships they have formed and the shared experiences they will carry forward.
